THE COURSE

twelve weeks inside the sanctuary

This is where the Velvet Method becomes something you live.
Over twelve weeks, you’ll move through a carefully designed sequence of experiences exploring language, safety, desire, discernment, capacity, and embodiment.
Each week builds upon the one before it—through conversation, reflection, beautiful rituals, embodied practice, and small experiments in your actual life.
You’ll notice what shifts when you become curious about the words you use, the sensations you trust, the desires you allow yourself to name, and the choices you practice making.
This is learning designed to stay with you.

Before the learning begins, you arrive.
Your first week is about settling into the Sanctuary, meeting XOCHI, opening your Arrival Box, and becoming familiar with the spaces, rituals, and language that will accompany you through the next twelve weeks.

WEEK 1-ARRIVAL

The words we use shape what becomes possible. You’ll begin noticing the language you use with yourself and others, exploring how certain words create openness, curiosity, and choice. Together, we practice a new vocabulary for the Sanctuary—and for seeing yourself and your life through a wider lens.

WEEKS 2 & 3- LANGUAGE

Safety changes what becomes possible. You’ll begin noticing what helps you feel grounded, open, and available for something new. We explore the difference between safety and familiarity, learn to recognize your edges, and practice creating the conditions that allow curiosity and expansion to feel possible.

WEEKS 4 & 5-SAFETY

Desire begins with giving yourself permission to want. You’ll name what you desire, explore the vision beneath it, and begin asking: What does my vision require of me? Together, we notice what feels familiar, what invites expansion, and the smallest ways you can begin practicing your desires now.

WEEKS 6 & 7-DESIRE

Once you know what you desire, discernment helps you decide what deserves your yes. You’ll practice separating your own knowing from expectation, advice, old patterns, and outside noise. This week is about learning to trust your response, ask better questions, and make choices that feel increasingly like your own.

WEEK 8-DISCERNMENT

Desire asks what you want. Capacity asks what you’re able to hold. This week, you’ll explore what happens when the life you’ve imagined begins asking more of you—more visibility, responsibility, pleasure, connection, opportunity, or change. You’ll begin expanding your capacity through small experiences that make more feel possible, familiar, and sustainable.

WEEK 9-CAPACITY

Insight becomes meaningful when it enters your life. You’ll choose small, tangible ways to practice what you’ve discovered—through your choices, routines, environment, boundaries, and the way you move through your day. Embodiment happens through repetition: one small practice, lived often enough to become familiar.

WEEK 10 & 11- EMBODY

The final week is about noticing what has become yours. You’ll look back at what you arrived carrying, what you’ve discovered, and what you’re ready to carry forward. Together, we gather the language, practices, and ways of seeing that you want to keep—and consider how they might live with you beyond the Sanctuary.

WEEK 12-LIVING THE VELVET WAY

The course ends. The practice continues.
After twelve weeks, you leave the Sanctuary with more than what you learned. You leave with a language, practices, questions, rituals, and a deeper familiarity with yourself. The invitation now is to notice what has become yours—and choose what you want to carry forward.
